Dual element immersion heaters are exclusively used in vertical orientation domestic water cylinders. Dual heaters work in conjunction with a “sink/bath” switch, with a short element used to heat smaller quantities of water, and the longer one to heat the cylinder to the length of the element, i.e. 24”, 27” etc. Heaters are pre-wired, and have either a 1m or 2m four core high temperature flexible cable fitted. All heaters are fitted with a control thermostat pre-set at 65°C and an externally re-settable high limit cut-out to prevent the water reaching 98°C (in accordance with IS/EN60335-2-73)
